VASS membership is open to organisations and individuals that have an objective to assist people with disabilities. VASS members have the opportunity to:

• meet at least three times a year to hear guest speakers, attend workshops and share ideas and information
  

• save money through collective purchasing by joining our GSB Supply Corp group

• receive individual support through our Peer Mentoring Scheme
  

• attend regular seminars on issues such as governance, leadership development and management issues

• stay informed about government policy, current research and relevant issues through our regular e-newsletter "Wellington Updates", additonal member exclusive alerts and our best practice publications.
  

• benefit from a collective voice to Government and fund holders via direct representation on Government Advisory Groups and established relationships with Government Ministers, MPs, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Health and other key organisations in the disability sector

• participate in sector development.
  

Membership Fees

Full Membership: (for organisations whose main activities include providing support to people with disabilities)
$800 plus GST per year

Full Members receive all our publications and are eligible for all VASS prgrammes including the GSB group purchasing scheme.  Meeting fees for one delegate are built into the Full Member subscription.

Associate Membership: (for not-for-profit organisations or individuals with an interest in the disability sector)
$175 plus GST per year

Associate Members receive regular information but may be ineligible to participate in some VASS programmes e.g. GSB group purchasing scheme.  They are welcome to attend meetings upon payment of a meeting fee but have no voting rights.

Corporate Membership: (for profit organisations with an interest in supporting the disability sector)
$500 plus GST per year

Corporate Members receive regular information but may be ineligible to participate in some VASS programmes.  They are welcome to attend meetings upon payment of a meeting fee but have no voting rights.

All members enjoy a discounted registration fee for our popular, sector-wide, national conference which is held approximately every 18 months.
