The VASS Wage Assessment Tool (WAT) has been researched and developed in New Zealand for the purposes of assessing an employee's wage when applying for a Minimum Wage Exemption Permit through the Department of Labour.

The  WAT is a process which involves looking at an employee's productivity and skills.  Training in this process is available through VASS to members and non members.
